  • 2019 NAFSA Fellowship Program for African Higher Education Leaders

    NAFSA: Association of International Educators launches a call for applications for the 2019 NAFSA Global Dialogue Fellowship Program. The program will support five university leaders from sub-Saharan Africa to help increase their institutional capacity for international education and expand opportunities for partnerships and exchange of expertise. Each Global Dialogue Fellow will be paired with a U.S.-based partner for ongoing information sharing and will receive support to attend two consecutive NAFSA annual conferences in the United States.   • Universidad Veracruzana - Call for Participation to the Virtual International Collaboration (VIC)

    The International Office of the Universidad Veracruzana launches a call for participation to the Virtual International Collaboration (VIC) programme, that they will be organizing online, from October 1st, 2018, to January 31st, 2019, through the EMINUS platform. The aim of the course is to guide participants in the development of an educational intervention with an international partner. The course (30hours) is free with limited availability.   • UArctic Congress 2018

    Universities of Oulu and Helsinki both IAU members host a major scientific event, UArctic Congress 2018 on 3rd to 7th September 2018. The first four days of the congress will take place in Oulu and the final day in Helsinki.
    The UArctic Congress 2018 themes revolve around the priorities of the Finnish chairmanship, including the goals of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the Paris Agreement under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. More information on conference website

  • Unique Fall 2018 course at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education

    This is a 3-credit, graduate-level course offered by the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. The course is taught by Dr. Betty Leask, an emerita professor from La Trobe University (Australia) who is a 2018-2019 visiting faculty member at BC’s Center for International Higher Education (CIHE). Dr. Leask is a globally recognized expert in the field of teaching and learning, particularly in relation to internationalization of the curriculum.
