  • Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary

    Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) marks its 25th anniversary this year. Established in March 2000, MUST has grown alongside the Macao Special Administrative Region of China, becoming the largest comprehensive university in Macao with the highest student enrollment. Guided by its motto—“Dedication to practical studies, Enhancement of knowledge, Ability, and Quality”—the university has made significant strides in education, research, and innovation.

    Please join the XXXIV Meeting of the Association of Portuguese Language Universities (AULP), which will take place in Beira, Mozambique from June 16 to 18, 2025.
    This prestigious event will bring together academics, researchers, and professionals to discuss key topics within the Lusophone space, fostering knowledge exchange and international cooperation.

  • Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Award 2025 – Call for Applications

    The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is now accepting applications for the 2025 International Award.
    Theme for 2025 – 1st Round:

    "Green Technology Applications for Achieving Well-Being and Happiness for Humanity"

    This prestigious award recognizes outstanding contributions in either:

    Fundamental or applied sciences, or
    Literature, arts, social sciences, or humanities
    It is granted to an individual who has made a significant scientific impact for the betterment of humanity. Additionally, an institution may also be honored for exceptional contributions related to the award’s theme.

    Each year, the award focuses on a single field, determined and announced by the Higher Committee of the Award.

  • Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute - IV Open International Internet Olympiad

    Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute invites students from Turkmenistan and abroad to participate in the IV Open International Internet Olympiad in "Strength of Materials", which will take place on March 18, 2025.

    The Olympiad will be held online in an individual format and conducted in Turkmen, Russian, and English. Its goal is to identify talented students, enhance theoretical knowledge, and develop research interest.

  • 35th UNICA General Assembly and Rectors’ Seminar

    Save the date for the UNICA General Assembly & Rectors’ Seminar 2025, celebrating 35 years of the UNICA network. Hosted by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) an IAU member, the event will run from 18 to 20 June 2025.
    As part of the General Assembly, the UNICA Rectors’ Seminar will take place on 20 June and will focus on “The key role of the Humanities in our universities.”




  • UArctic Assembly 2025

    The 6th UArctic Assembly Meeting will be held from 6 to 9 June in Inari, Finland. It will be hosted by the Sámi Education Institute.

    UArctic Assembly is the annual meeting of UArctic members, which also serves as a platform of cooperation, networking and consultation between all UArctic members.

    Join the 2025 EUA Annual Conference at the University of Latvia in Riga on 10–11 April. Under the theme “Connecting the Dots on Sustainability and Resilience,” the event will explore how universities and communities can drive a sustainable future and build stronger, more resilient institutions.

    Key topics include:

    - Embedding sustainability and resilience into university missions and strategies.
    - The role of funding, digitalisation, academic careers, and leadership in promoting sustainability.
    - Practical ways to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
    - How institutions can enhance resilience while staying outward-looking, with a focus on knowledge security and inclusion.
