The Governing Council of the University of Abuja, Nigeria led by Air Vice Marshall Saddiq Ismaila Kaita (Rtd), has appointed Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi as the seventh substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja. The appointment takes effect from 1st January 2025, and it is for a nonrenewable tenure of five years.
