Science Week 2025 in Benguerir
In March 2025, UM6P hosted its annual Science Week, bringing together researchers, students, and entrepreneurs to showcase innovation in science and technology. Key topics included sustainability, green technologies, and scientific entrepreneurship. Student-led projects in water, agriculture, and environmental science were featured, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launch of Executive Masters by TechniX School
TechniX, UM6P’s engineering school, launched its first Executive Master programs in March 2025. These programs target professionals seeking to enhance their skills in metallurgy, corrosion, and industrial innovation, supporting advanced industrial capacity in Africa. UM6P and MIT Sandbox Collaboration – 2025
The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University continues its strategic collaboration with the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund, aiming to boost entrepreneurship and innovation in Africa.
Through the UM6P Explorer Program, students and young innovators receive seed funding (up to 250,000 MAD), mentorship, and training to develop high-impact startups. Innovation and collaboration highlighted during UM6P’s participation in GITEX AFRICA 2025
From April 12 to 16, UM6P took part in GITEX AFRICA 2025 under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, continuing its role as a key partner in this major tech forum. Over 12 departments showcased innovations in digital tech, deeptech, and applied research, with prototypes and solutions for education, health, and energy. UM6P also joined panels on AI, digital sovereignty, and climate-smart tech, while signing multiple partnerships with diverse stakeholders to strengthen innovation and capacity building in Africa.

UM6P – PARIS, France
1. Station F Launch and NextAfrica Accelerator
UM6P officially opened its space at Station F, the world’s largest startup campus, in Paris. At the same event, UM6P launched NextAfrica, a cross-continental acceleration program for African and European startups in GreenTech, AgriTech, and HealthTech. The program offers dual immersion between Paris and Morocco, infrastructure access, and mentorship by African and European innovation leaders.
