  • IEASA 2022 Conference - Call for Proposals

    IEASA invites contributions from academics, researchers, professional practitioners, educators, students and innovators, as well as organisations and individuals interested in international higher education to its 2022 conference, to be held online from 24 to 26 August 2022.

  • EWORA 2nd WORKSHOP

    The European Women Rectors Association (EWORA) invites women in leadership positions at universities/research organizations, gender experts, members of higher education networks and interested academics to join them at the 2nd EWORA Workshop "Envisioning the Future of Higher Education: Expectations, Opportunities and Challenges for Leadership", which will be held at the University of Valencia, Spain on 2-3 May 2022.   • Birzeit University - International Staff Training Week

    Birzeit University will be holding its 3rd Erasmus Staff Training Week from 23rd – 27th of May 2022 at Birzeit University, Palestine.

    The main purpose of this professional gathering is to welcome colleagues and international partners for a week of presentations and discussions on a wide range of issues important to our collaboration in terms of ERASMUS + and other bilateral agreements. During this week, we will share knowledge and experience, enhance shared values, develop mutual future collaboration, and indeed gain an in-depth knowledge of Palestine and its language and culture, as applicants will experience a tour around unique places. A comprehensive detailed program including a series of thematic workshops, lectures, reflections on the Erasmus + ICM students and staff mobility, success stories, and examples of good practices in teaching and training will be sent in a later stage.

  • Zhejiang University 2022 SDG Global Summer School (August 1-15) - Applications Now Open

    Zhejiang University 2022 SDG Global Summer School will take place from August 1 to August 15 in a virtual format. Zhejiang University welcomes students from around the world to the Global Summer School for academic learning and cultural experience opportunities. This two-week program will allow undergraduate and graduate students to take credit-bearing courses themed on SDGs under the mentorship of prestigious professors from ZJU and partner universities.

    Applications are now open online and will close on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 (GMT+8).

  • FRAMES collaborative online training on Virtual Exchange and blended mobility integration - Registration is open

    The FRAMES Consortium is happy to announce the upcoming ’Collaborative online Training on Virtual Exchange and blended mobility integration’.
    This training is of specific interest for International Relations Office staff and related offices (mobility officers, educational offer, career offices), IT staff, management and educational leaders as well as academic staff of any interested higher education institution.
    The training course aims to develop the participants’ capacity to design, implement, assess and multiply relevant mobility schemes enriched by Virtual Exchange (VE). As such, this training course does not focus on VE project design, but rather on the opportunities linked to the integration and accreditation of this innovative pedagogy in the curriculum and within the institutional strategies. Staff from any departments or university units/offices who might be involved in the implementation and integration of VE at Higher Education level are more than welcome! The approach adopted is namely a combination of a top-down and a bottom-up approach.

  • New IAP report, ’Combatting Predatory Academic Journals and Conferences’ now avalaible

    Universities anywhere in the world have a vital role to play in combatting the growth of predatory academic practices, including predatory journals and conferences. So says a report published this month by the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), the global network of science, engineering and medical academies.

  • CIMEA - Join the Webinar "Supporting Recognition of Ukrainian Qualifications"

    The Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) of the European Commission in cooperation with CIMEA, the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre, is organising a webinar on the Ukrainian higher education system, its qualifications (including qualifications granting access to higher education), tools for verification and information resources with the scope of providing information to support recognition of Ukrainian qualifications.

    This event is open to higher education institutions, public bodies, and organisations involved in the recognition of qualifications at different levels. It is online and free of charge.
    Time : 6 April 2022 at 10:30-12:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time) on Zoom

  • Collegium Civitas - Solidarity with Ukraine

    Collegium Civitas has launched various types of support for Ukrainians (friends, colleagues, students, their families), and also all other victims of the Russian aggression. In particular: financial support; psychological support; information support (including finding shelter/housing); support related to academic / student / didactic issues; the launch of a "bridging" academic programme in Ukrainian for Ukrainian students, who neither speak Polish nor English; symbolic support (including communications) is also under preparation.
    The involvement of each and every institutions, academicians or individuals can help make a difference and Collegium Civitas as an institution would be grateful for all financial contributions to support measures they have started to implement.
