The EU-funded SAFE project "Supporting At-risk researchers with Fellowships in Europe" offers up to 60 fellowships for at-risk doctoral and postdoctoral researchers of any non-EU nationality for a research stay at a higher education and research institution in the EU. The project offers an optional matchmaking service until mid-December to help researchers and host institutions without prior contacts to connect for a joint application.
Host institutions established in the EU can now submit applications on behalf of eligible non-EU researchers at risk. The call will remain open until 20 January 2025, at 23:59 (CET). The SAFE launch event and info session will take place virtually tomorrow, 19 November 2024, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. This webinar aims at informing potential host institutions in the EU, as well as researchers at risk from any non-EU nationality about the call for applications and matchmaking service.
