The Green Gown awards recognize exceptional higher education sustainability initiatives. Since 2016, IAU has been taking part as jury member or partner in different versions of the Green Gown awards, in the French-speaking edition of the Green Gown Awards Les Trophées des Campus Responsables and increasingly as supporting partner of the International Green Gown Awards since 2019, which are awarded during the annual UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).
