PRESENTATION
This questionnaire collects data on internationalization of Higher Education that will be analyzed and summarized in the 5th edition of the IAU Global Survey report which will be published in early 2019. Since 2003, the International Association of Universities has conducted four Global Surveys on Internationalization of Higher Education. Each of them provides a unique data analysis of global and regional trends and developments in the field of international higher education and related policy making. The IAU Global Surveys have become an invaluable resource for those interested in internationalization of higher education.

IAU has an inclusive approach for internationalization and therefore developed this questionnaire based on the following definition : "Internationalization of higher education is defined as the intentional process of integrating an international, intercultural or global dimension into the purpose, functions and delivery of post-secondary education, in order to enhance the quality of education and research for all students and staff, and to make a meaningful contribution to society." (De Wit, Hunter, Egron-Polak, Howard, 2015, building on Knight 2006)
