The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted higher education worldwide. Both national authorities and decision-makers in higher education institutions needed to adapt very rapidly to both the crisis and a completely new environment. To what extent were they prepared to deal with such an unprecedented situation? What are the factors that allowed some systems and institutions to adapt more rapidly and more effectively than others did in terms of prevention, preparedness, and responses? In other words, what are the factors that foster resilience in higher education, and what should we take into account for the future of planning higher education? To know more we invite you to join the IIEP Strategic Debate on Resilience.
