The International Association of Universities is pleased to launch the third iteration of the IAU Global Survey on HESD.

Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development (HESD) is one of the key iau priority areas of work.

The survey uses the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs as a framework to foster better understanding of how HEIs engage with sustainable development (SD), how they work, who is working on this at the institutional level and what the main SDGs are.

This third global survey will help showcase developments regarding SD in higher education, help inform new policy, and support universities in engaging with sustainability using a whole-institution approach (WIA) to SD.
